At Fast Foods (e.g. McDonald’s, Burger King) Small fries are 250 calories, Medium 375 & Large 500.
Burgers
1 Small Burger= 300
1 Medium Burger = 600
1 Large Burger = 900
A small burger like the Cheeseburger & Hamburger in McDonald’s, Whopper Jr. at Burger King or the KFC Snacker will be about 300 each.
Medium size burgers like the Big Mac & a Quarter Pounder average 600.
For large burgers like the Double Quarter Pounder and the Double Whopper, put down 900.
Another way to gauge the size is the price. The cheapest ones in the restaurant will be 300, mid-range 600 and the highest priced, 900.
Coke/Pepsi & Other Beverages
1 Small = 150 Calories
1 Medium = 225 Calories
1 Large = 300 calories![]()
Fast Food beverages like Coke, Pepsi, Sprite etc. average out at 150 for the small, 225 for the medium & 300 for the large.
Ketchup/Sauces
2 Packets: 25 Calories
2 Packets of ketchup (or any other sauce) like the one pictured on the right are 25 calories.
Donuts
1 Plain/Chocolate Covered = 225 Calories
1 Crème/Jelly Filled = 325 Calories
If a donut is filled with crème/jelly it averages 325. If it’s plain inside, regardless of what the coating is (it could be Glazed, Chocolate/Strawberry flavored etc.), the calories are 225.
Pizza
1 Large Slice – Thin Crust: 225 Calories
1 Large Slice – Regular Crust: 275 Calories
1 Large Slice – Stuffed Crust: 325 Calories
By a large slice, we’re referring to about 1/8th of a 12” pizza.
Chicken
Fast Food Chicken: 225 Calories/3 oz.
3 oz. is 5 McNuggets & about ½ a Chicken Breast at KFC.
